I remember reading about this "thing" back when it was being built, they started with a CL500 which was highly modified with the use of foam, cardboard, and a lot of leather and chrome. I'm not sure what the final body was made out of, but I do remember seeing them pouring the foam to sculpt. I can only assume that's what underneath.
Here's the new !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! I just found, shocking how you stumble across things from the past every now and then.
Here are some pics of it being constructed, something I did not see on the listing.
The foam as I was talking about being used on the exterior to shape the body.
And here it is again being used for the interior.
Just like the old Excalibur & Zimmer "transformations" of yore, no custom "luxury" car is complete without a couple massive Swarovski crystals (or in Zimmer's case a crystal ash tray.)
And just because I haven't tortured you all enough: HEADLINER!!!

It's like a horrible caricature on luxury cars of the late 90s/early 2000s.

I almost like it. Just change the grille and tone down the interior a bit, and I'd hoon it.
Though I don't approve of it's "construction".

I was gonna call complete and utter BS fakery on that lead photo.
But then there was a build thread. :/
I can't even get worked up about the interior, I already used up all my contempt and rage on the exterior.
